Sun Top buys from the factory at factory price, adds one transparent margin, and resells to you. We own inventory in transit, carry exchange-rate risk, and are the contractual counter-party on your invoice. If something goes wrong, you call Sun Top — not the factory.

This is meaningfully different from a sourcing agent (who acts on commission but doesn't take title) or a freight forwarder (who only moves goods). One trading company. One invoice. One accountable party.

Every factory in Sun Top's working register goes through the same eight-step verification protocol before any sample order is placed:

• Business licence cross-check on gsxt.gov.cn (National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System)
• Reverse image search on advertised factory photos to detect stolen imagery
• Live WeChat video tour of the production line — not pre-recorded
• Bank account name match against the registered business licence
• Reference call to a current AU or Western export customer
• ChAFTA Certificate of Origin sample from a recent AU shipment
• AS/NZS test report request for electrical and safety-critical goods
• On-the-ground factory visit via Sun Top's Guzhen office presence where category allows

Factories that fail any step are demoted to backup-only or removed.

Australian buyers — both businesses and private clients — pay 25–60% more than they need to for goods made in China. The markup goes to layers of trading houses, wholesalers, distributors, and retailers between the factory and the buyer.

Sun Top removes those layers. We buy direct, mark up once, and pass the saving on. The model only works at scale and with proper factory relationships, which is why we are based in Hong Kong with operational presence in Guzhen rather than running the business remotely from Australia.

Sun Top maintains operational presence in Guzhen Town, Zhongshan — China's national LED lighting cluster. Guzhen also co-locates with the Panyu (Guangzhou) supermarket fit-out and uniforms clusters, making it a strategic base for category coverage.

Guzhen presence lets us do same-day factory visits, audit production lines on demand, and negotiate prices in person rather than through chat. It is the practical engine behind our pricing leverage.

Sun Top is registered in Hong Kong under the Companies Ordinance. Hong Kong's status as a free port and zero-GST jurisdiction makes it the most efficient base for a China-Australia trading operation. Sun Top invoices contain no GST or VAT; import GST is paid by the buyer (or Sun Top's broker on the buyer's behalf) at the Australian port.

Sun Top's HK Companies Registry number is shown on every invoice and proforma.

Sun Top works with two audience segments:

• Australian business buyers: importers, wholesalers, retailers, fit-out companies, event and AV operators, facilities operators, hospitality groups, custom-home builders.
• Australian private clients: individuals sourcing high-ticket items — luxury furniture, hi-fi systems, designer kitchens, watches, art, vehicles, premium home goods. Minimum project size $5,000 AUD.
